Fortunately, the island of Tenerife has a history and culture that has been recorded, from archaeological sites and historical sites to traditions, festivals and popular knowledge. Thanks to the work of protection and conservation of the heritage area of the Government of Tenerife, today the island has 209 spaces declared as a Site of Cultural Interest.
